This is an exceptionally rare Japanese whisky. For this release Yamazaki have created an art form in a bottle with this single malt. The makeup consists of whisky that has been aged for 20 years in ex-European oak that previously held red wine, with whisky that has been aged for 20 years in Port barrels, and the body stemming from a younger ex-bourbon cask whisky. These three elements are married perfectly to create as malt with unparalleled complexity.
