Lark's Rare Cask Series celebrates Tasmanian whisky through an endless pursuit of the abandoned exceptional, combing countries for casks both rare and remarkable. Inspired by a time of hidden and illustrious hedonism comes Rare Cask series Tokay. Evoke the magic of the jazz age in the modern age with this special single malt finished in barrels of Seppeltsfield’s blend of museum Tokay, containing a very precious parcel from the 1922 vintage. Very few will get to enjoy this exceedingly rare and exceptionally elegant drop, a unique expression of spirit and history brought to life with notes of manuka honey, flavours of mocha and honeycomb.

Taking distinction and rarity to new heights, this wonderfully unique and unforgettable drop is new life blossoming within the old, a union of rich history and modern whisky making that offers a complexity of coffee, honeycomb and muscovado flavours with a beautiful warmth and long finish.

TASTING NOTES

NOSE - Manuka honey drizzled over raisins, almonds and toffee.

PALATE - Creamy coffee fudge on arrival, with apricot conserve and developing honeycomb.

FINISH - A long and warming complexity with muscovado and iced tea.
