The Nant Distillery Tasmanian Single Malt Whisky
This bottle is a piece of Tasmanian whisky history. From the early years of Nant distillery, the inaugural Cask no. 1, Sherry cask matured and signed by Keith Batt. Bottle number 182.
The short, squat, heavy-based 500mL decanter style confirms this as a first-generation release from Nant's earliest commercial production years, dating roughly between 2011 and 2013. In this early era, Nant relied entirely on the handwritten fields on the right side of the label to distinguish the maturation type. The handwritten section mentions "Cask No. 1" alongside "Sherry", which verifies it was filled from their inaugural sherry-matured vatting.
