The Octomore .2 series utilise alternative cask maturations – in the case of the 12.2, Sauternes. The Octomore 12.2 was distilled in 2015 from a 2014 harvest of 100% Scottish grown Concerto barley. It was initially mature for 3.5 years in American oak casks before spending a final one and a half years in French Sauternes casks. Bottled at 57.3% with a PPM of 129.7
