A very rare bottle of Heartwood Release the Beast Cask Strength Tasmanian Single Malt Whisky
One of the early ones, "Release the Beast" was Heartwood's second release that was distilled in November 2004/ June 2005 and bottled in early August 2012 yielding 259 bottles of Lark origin. "The Beast" was initially matured in 100 litre Port casks (LD124 and LD214) and matured for three years. It was subsequently married into a 200L Australian sherry cask (LD549) and matured for a further 4 years.
