This is a single cask bottling of the distillery’s flagship product – the ‘900 Standard’. A mix of non-peated barley with a touch of peated barley making up the mash, giving just enough peat influence to impart caramels and fresh tobacco notes with stone fruits and roasted malts.
This Single Cask bottling of the 900 Standard whisky represents the perfect version of their flagship Single Malt Whisky. Hand-selected and bottled at 47.85%, it expresses the DNA of the Chief’s Son brand perfectly, exhibiting balance, clarity, uniqueness and style.

Tasting Notes:
APPEARANCE: Mahogany, brilliant clarity, 9/10 viscosity.
NOSE: Nectarine, apricot, sweet roses and cigars, erupting into hard toffees, camphor, sherry and floral peat.
TASTE: Clean, balanced oak with wild honey, lemon sponge and roasted malts with intense stone fruits fused with caramel and subtle floral peat.
FINISH: Slow and long, toffee, sweet tobacco and deep oak.
